Threadnote 5.1.1

Threadnote 5.1.1 gives Manager a clearer workspace for writing memories, resolving decisions and sharing conflicts, managing Obsidian, and keeping the runtime up to date.

What's new

Threadnote 5.1.1 gives Manager a clearer workspace for writing memories, resolving decisions and sharing conflicts, managing Obsidian, and keeping the runtime up to date.

A consistent Manager workspace

  • Navigate every module through a shared sidebar, icons, and header breadcrumbs. Collapse the sidebar when you need more room, and keep your Light, Dark, or System appearance choice across sessions.
  • Read graph views with clearer light-mode contrast, a stable canvas height, and a scrollable inspector. Processes and Runtime Health use descriptive rows and distinct status labels.

Write and organize memories

  • Create a memory directly from Home or Library with a rich Markdown editor, formatting controls, syntax-highlighted code, and Markdown source editing.
  • Library keeps Memories and Resources together while making local memories and individual teams easier to select.
  • Selecting a folder includes its collapsed and filtered descendants. Bulk actions and item menus let you archive, publish, unpublish, or forget the intended memories; removing a memory folder also forgets its contents.
  • Resize the Library navigator to suit your workspace. Long names truncate with an ellipsis while keeping selection controls and item menus available.

Resolve decisions and sharing conflicts

  • Context Health opens review and task dialogs with the relevant case and evidence. Grouped cases expose every affected memory, and Home includes retained decisions that still need attention.
  • Sharing compares local and shared versions, shows their differences, and lets you keep either version or save a manual resolution. Revision checks protect against resolving a conflict whose contents changed while you were reviewing it.
  • Sidebar badges show shared conflicts and memories needing attention, with meaningful status colors in Context Health.

Manage integrations and updates

  • The new Integrations section manages Obsidian sources, selected memory exports, connection settings, and Inbox review candidates. Imports retain a preview-and-apply workflow; exports run directly and show their results. Existing vault edits and unmanaged notes remain protected.
  • Runtime Health now includes an automatic-update toggle, an explicit update check, release notes for the installed and available versions, and an Update Threadnote action with progress and restart guidance.

More reliable context recall

  • Recall and Context Brief from a repository now keep unrelated projects' private memories out of results while retaining projectless guidance and intentionally selected worksets.
  • Default recall can show a semantically strong match that falls just below the topical score cutoff, with its low confidence clearly labeled. An explicitly configured threshold remains strict.

MCP validation errors also identify an invalid replaceUri correctly, making memory replacement mistakes easier to fix.

Faster graph maintenance and safer project setup

  • Large graph rebuilds reclaim retired snapshots a page at a time instead of repeatedly scanning all remaining cleanup work, so cleanup keeps moving forward as the graph grows.
  • Installing OpenCode Model Profile support for a project now keeps that project's MCP configuration, guidance, and skills separate from your personal integrations. Retargeting an installation checks the destination first and refuses conflicts without changing either project.

Clearer handoffs

Handoffs can now keep the retrieval keywords you provide through the CLI or MCP. Replacing a handoff preserves those explicit keywords, while automatic keyword generation remains disabled for handoffs.
