Threadnote 5.2.0

Threadnote 5.2.0 brings connected work into private recall, makes memory and graph work easier to review, and adds a guided Codex Cloud setup for durable project context.

What's new

Threadnote 5.2.0 brings connected work into private recall, makes memory and graph work easier to review, and adds a guided Codex Cloud setup for durable project context.

Connect the work you already use

  • Connect selected GitHub repositories, Linear teams and projects, Pocket recordings, and Superhuman Docs to read-only recall with clear source links and access boundaries.
  • Manager gathers available integrations and active connections in one place, where you can inspect sync progress, pause access, or disconnect.
  • Recall searches eligible local snapshots while refresh runs in the background. Use Manager's Sync now or threadnote source sync <id> --apply when you need an explicit sync result.

Keep memories grounded and easier to manage

  • Derived memories retain their reviewed, sanitized source evidence and report whether the current source has changed, disappeared, or remains unknown.
  • Review memory consolidation drafts with their supporting fragments, citations, and relations before saving.
  • Context Health presents scoped conflicts and evidence for review without choosing a winner automatically, and Manager makes project scope, active operations, and graph-snapshot age visible.

Use Threadnote in Codex Cloud

  • Codex Cloud setup restores managed guidance, refreshes private Git memory, prepares structural graphs, and verifies readiness in fresh tasks.
  • Scoped Context Briefs combine relevant memory and graph evidence. A five-field Knowledge Delta stays reviewable before durable sharing.
  • Local installations now create only threadnote and threadnote-mcp-server by default; organization credential helpers follow configured features, and doctor, repair, and update keep the same requirements.

Reliable indexing and integrations

  • Context Brief citation validation overlaps independent repository and worktree observations for faster large-repository checks without weakening validation.
  • Integration imports preserve complete source pages and recordings, safely reuse available saved credentials, and keep synchronization-only resources out of the Manager tree.
  • Updated runtime, parser, inference, and AI integration dependencies improve compatibility and resolve reported dependency audit findings while preserving local indexing, MCP negotiation, and telemetry privacy controls.
