What's new
Threadnote 5.2.1 keeps project-scoped graph search usable during refreshes and lets workspace-scoped recall include matching personal preferences.
More reliable code graph refreshes
Background refreshes now follow the selected project scope through scheduling and indexing. Searches can keep using the ready graph while refresh work runs, and a refresh that is already owned or deferred will not launch repeated retries against the same target. Agents continue receiving graph evidence while a fresh snapshot is prepared.
Faster graph reads and a longer analysis window
Graph searches reuse one database session for snapshot selection and evidence reads, reducing repeated database setup. MCP graph inspection and analysis use a fixed 55-second deadline. Inspection no longer exposes a timeout override that agents could accidentally shorten. Semantic MCP recall has 30 seconds to complete before falling back to lexical results.
Reconnect MCP clients after upgrading to refresh the tool schema.
Workspace-scoped personal preferences
Workspace-scoped recall now includes personal preferences whose project field names a topic, so agents can apply relevant guidance across that workspace. Project-specific knowledge still follows its project scope.
